Transmission: Automatic Color:Green Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) Although it doesn't look like much on the outside, this little rocket will push you around any street or highway you want to go. If you are a 12 mile Round Trip commuter, you will love this, as you can plug in at any 110 volt plug and charge overnight. A charge will give you around 12 miles. You can expect 36 mpg overall around 65 mph. I drive interstates and it will drive well at 75 and the seats/cockpit make the experience good for about 4 hours. Very touchy brakes, but you get used to that. Storage room is adequate if you fold the back seats down flat. It doesn't have a spare tire, but a fix-a-flat kit so that is a definite minus.

Good car, bad transmission

The Ford focus uses a dry clutch with a combination of manual and automatic transmissions. I started experiencing issues with the clutch a month after purchase. Turns out, my very young car with under 40,000 miles needs a new clutch. Dug around and it's a very common problem and there is currently a class action against ford because of the clutch and transmission issues. My car has issues shifting, making it scary to drive.

Wonderful sleeper performance car

It feels like a German car, only with the heart of an American muscle car. It's subtle and unassuming until you feel one of the turbos kick over then the v6 roars to life. For a person who wants performance but also has a family, this is trule the end all to be all.
