Absolutely Wonderful Car

- Brendan Myers, 2013 Ford Taurus

Good times with my Taurus

I am quite happy with my Taurus. The performance is great and it gets good milage. It is a very nice looking car and is quite comfortable to ride in. If I had any complaint it is that the top of the door frame is a bit too low for me and it makes getting into the car a tad bit difficult for me. I am a big fellow and I tend to hit my head on the top of the door frame if I don't fold myself up just right as I get in. Not a big problem just the only problem. Over all, I am quite happy with my Taurus and will most likely buy another one from CarMax when the time comes.

Taurus ROcks

The Taurus has been a great vehicle for the amount of money i paid. On trips, I usually get 24-26 on the highway and its very smooth. The Taurus has been very reliable. The engine in the Taurus is known for its reliability but is lacking a bit in performance. However, I do not expect sports car performance for a car in this family vehicle class and the price I paid anyways. The only area where the car could use some improvement is the interior. I am a fan of the center armrested Taurus models, but I have the split bench model with the fold out armrest. Its probably a bit nicer for storage and such especially since I never use the middle seat. Other than that I love the car. I especially like all of the small touches this car has that puts it above some of the others. For example, my car has puddle lamps that light up when you open the door or press the keypad and light the area underneath the rear view mirrors. (I believe they are called security approach lamps) Also, a lot of cars I test drove didn't have back-lit buttons on the steering wheel, or the light up door lock buttons at night like the Taurus has. I never have to fumble around to know where the cruise control or window buttons are at night. I can plainly see them! It is little things like that that make me love the Taurus. Good job Ford. I've got 90,000 miles and not one single problem!!! I have owned the Taurus since it had 60,000 miles on it and have grown quite fond of it. I am excited about the upcoming Taurus that is coming out in 2008!
