2015 Ford TaurusCarolyn Parks - Sky Valley, GA11/07/2016
Gas mileage is my first complaint. I drove a Mercury Marquis for the last 14 years (a 2001 and a 2007) they both got much better mileage than this Taurus. The Taurus is really hard to see out of. I am 5'9 and my husband is 6'2" both of us complain about the difficulty seeing out of it. The back seat head rests block visibility. The rear end sits so high that even with the back up camera I have found that it sometimes does "see" obstacles like steep embankments. The front end blocks visibility when going over a steep drop (we live in a mountainous area) so these 2 may be specific problems to the terrain we live in.
I'm a big fan of this big car

The Taurus is proof that having a family doesn't mean you have to have a minivan or SUV. This car is roomy, comfortable, has a massive trunk, is one of the safest cars in crash tests, and still drives like a car. It's powerful enough to get up to speed with a proper shove and handles well. Fuel economy is, well, not the best, but it's better than most SUVs and crossovers, and for the size, comfort, and capability, it's a fair trade.

I already have recommended it and had another family member buy one. It has more power than your average car. It looks nice but not like it is trying too hard. Quite a few bells and whistles too. I have had more comfort cars but this isn't bad and I bought it because I wanted something that was fast. There are plenty of cars out there that are faster but most aren't.
