I was in a debate between this car and a 2010 Acura TL. What ultimately sold me were the extra features that the acura didnt have.
The power is good. The brakes not so much but this is addressed by Ford with a $2k performance package.
The car is very smooth, even with the 20in wheels. I would prefer more exhaust noise and less induction noise from the turbos...but thats not really a complaint. Navigation works great, touch screen MySync with Sirius has plenty of presets which I like.
Seats are very comfortable. Trunk is humongous. 4 golf bags easy.
The biggest niggle for me is the location of the cup holders for the front passengers. The door holders you can get a normal bottle of water, but not a fast food cup unless its small. The center cup holder is suited for a medium fast food drink. Anything larger and the shifter hits it. So you are fine until you have to backup. Then you pick up the cup...shift, or do what you need to do, then put the cup back.
Plusses...heated and cool 3 stage seats. Rader collision and laser cruise control that adjusts speed based on traffic in front of you. Blind spot monitors and Rear view camera with side collision (on coming traffic) warning. Im not sure if thats the exact name but thats what it does. Also rear power sunshade.
Oh and the multicolor select for the interior ambient lighting is way cool.
It is a sports sedan...but it is not at the top of the sports sedan food chain. I knew that. It does what I need it to do, and makes me look good doing it.

I have owned approximately 40 vehicles throughout my life, including two Mustang GTs, and so far the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO I bought last July is my all-time favorite. It is wicked quick, comfortable, stylish and great-looking. A real dream to drive.
There is nothing about this car that I would change. My next car will be another SHO.
