Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.464 reviews) I regularly commute about 2 hours a day- this car makes the drive comfortable (it feels much bigger on the inside then it looks on the outside), enjoyable (the entertainment system and option satellite radio are great!), and economical (I'm getting in excess of 40 miles to a gallon- I've gone from filling up twice a week to about once every other week).

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.464 reviews) I enjoy the sportiness of the Escape! The hatchback area is plenty of room for all of our gear! Mileage on the highway is pretty good - around 29 mpg. In the traffic of town, it is down to about 20 mpg (I was hoping for better but it is traffic, after all.) The only draw back of our Escape is the lack of direction on the AC vents, it's either in your face on up to the ceiling. The oil change was rather pricey, too. But, it's still a fun ride!

Better than expected!

This car is solid. We used Insurance money from a wreck to put a down payment on this car (about 35%). It was a great option. I'm 6'4" and have long legs, and this car has a lot of leg room for the driver or the passenger. When I move the seat all the way back, people can still sit behind me. The trunk is a little smaller than our previous car (Toyota Avalon), but it is plenty big enough for us. It would comfortably fit 2 large suitcases and some smaller bags. It handles very well and brakes smoothly. The AC/Heater work very well, and I enjoy the temperature control options. We get about 25 MPG in the city and well over 30 on the Highway. It's also the first car I've owned with Bluetooth Audio, so piping in music/calls from a phone is easy.
