I traded a sedan and a pickup truck on this vehicle, and feel that I combined the best aspects of both in the process.

I can easily go 4+ months in the summer without going to the gas station. Sometimes I charge 3 times in a day, but usually only once or twice. I estimate that it cost about 25 cents to charge my car, however, I have switched the the Commonwealth Edison Real Rate plan. Sometimes at night when I charge they pay me to charge my car because the prices for electricity have gone negative. Anyway, I enjoy my car, it is very peppy in electric and i like "going green." I do wish there were more "free" charging stations around. The Kohls near my home has a free charging station which i use often. I have driven my car 22,000 miles and 18,000 of those miles have been in electric.

I upgraded from a 2008 Honda Accord that was riddled with problems, and I have not yet had any reason to complain about the Escape! It's a smooth ride with an excellent sound system, and very comfortable for all passengers. The automatic AWD is a lifesaver. I now love driving everywhere, just because I get to spend time in my Escape!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.875 reviews) Pros: - Almost everything about this car is a pro. - It gets EXCELLENT gas mileage. I get 38mpg on the interstate at 70+mph and up to 45mpg in the city driving. - It is small but has amazing storage space when the back seats are folded down. When seat are up, it can carry four people easy. Roof is high for tall people but leg room is fine but might be tight for tall people. Trunk space when seats are up is VERY SMALL, but this isn't a car that you will be traveling with 4 people and 4 people's luggage anyway. - Driving this car is pretty fun for such a small car. It can accelerate very quickly. Only Con is that it isn't a quiet car. The tires make lots of road noise.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.875 reviews) This is the ideal mid-size SUV (aka Crossover) vehicle, it combines great interior comfort, external looks, versatility and power. Looking at the Edge and its competitors I found for the money the Edge offers more for the price. Pros: Size Features Power Comfort Look Cons: Ride is a bit rough for a "luxury" vehicle (Sport AWD model) Wheels on sport model are expensive to replace when it comes time to! If I had the money the Ease of access options would have been nice (push button start, automatic lift gate, etc...)

Transmission: Automatic Color:Gold Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.875 reviews) A great car with all the amenities I need as a college student. I got this car when I totaled my Chevy Cruze and I love American made cars so I checked out a bigger, safer car in the Ford Escape. I really like but personally would prefer a smaller car. Inside is VERY spacious when compared with similar models. Definitely get the upgraded touch screen... the basic was not worth it so I went with the upgrade. The car is a little loud sometimes when driving faster but nothing completely unexpected. Seats fold down flat and provides so much room. We just took this car camping and were surprised how much we fit inside. I recommend for someone looking for small car with a lot of space!!!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.875 reviews) This car is great. Has all the features you would want and need. It has the capacity of most SUVs in the same range, but has really good gas mileage in my honest opinion. I get about 20-22 mpg on a good day, which gives me a range of 280-330 mpg. It really depends on your aggressiveness with the gas, but it has good range. The cabin is very quiet, and you can feel how your car is driving, but don't feel the small bumps like many older cars.

It is even easily towable behind a motorhome. It meets ALL of my needs and desires. Had it for 9 months. By the way, be sure to buy the SEL with all the goodies, and there is no change between 2013 to 2015 years. So IGNORE Consumer Reports who love the 2014 and 2015, but say there are some issues with the 2013. No difference.

Even with just 23-27 miles on a charge, I can run errands or to/from the train station. I literally fill my gas tank once a month or less now. It's room and comfortable on the inside. Has all the bells and whistles I would expect from a 21st century vehicle.

Runs better on premium and it 'likes' the gas a bit more than my old Civic but the comfort and power worth the gas mileage being in low 20's
