I am going from strictly driving cars to now owning an SUV, and I'll list the 2 biggest differences/selling points. 1) the price. I have the top model of this vehicle, the Denali, and it was very affordable. I wanted built in navigation, rear view camera, and all wheel drive, but got so much more thanI expected especially moving from a foreign to a domestic manufacturer. I've been pleasantly surprised. 2) the size/maneuverability. I'm not looking to drive a bus or van by any means and its size is perfect for me. It also handles much like a car. I haven't had any problems adjusting to it from day 1 of owning and love being higher up off the ground. Plus, the interior is super quiet.
It feels secure and it's a comfortable ride. I love the middle captain's chairs because it makes the 3rd row easily accessible and it gives the middle row riders more rooms to relax. The leg room can be a little tight if you have a tall driver, but it's not terrible. Love the heated seats!
I'm use to driving compact cars, and this is my first SUV and I will never go back to a compact car after driving a SUV.! I had a German car and I will never go back to that either. I love my new SUV and GMC.! Before I bought this vehicle I like to do my research on it and they said that the GMC Terrain has the overall best safety ratings out of all other SUV.!
