Recent Purchase Less Than 2 Months

In theory I really like my Acadia and believe that it was a great option for me. In less then 2months I have had the passenger mirror have a gear go bad. (for the foldong in and out option) Just recieved a recall for the windshield washer warmer. Will be disconnected no longer to function. The service your tire pressure monitor notice and icon have just went on and the tire pressure check option is not working. I have an appointment to have the recall addresses and to have the tire pressure monitor checked out. It has front wheel drive slips in wet conditions therefore I will be looking to replace the tires. Waiting to see what happens next.

It's been a disappointment

We decided to replace our Ford Windstar: we had 120,000 miles on it, and frankly the recalls were piling up. So, because of the 8-passenger seating, we went with the Acadia. It looks great, and ours came with all of the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, we have had issue after issue, especially with those bells and whistles. The sunroofs (-rooves?) leak. We have had water coming out of the rear backup sensor lights, the overhead lights, even out of the airbag panel by the driver's seat - every time it rains. We had the drainage tubes (who knew?) flushed out and were told that they were full of pine needles (we bought pre-owned). But it still leaks. Design issue? The CD/DVD player works....most of the time. Until it doesn't. And, naturally, it will start working again about a day before I have an appointment to bring it in. I do like the look of the car, and there is a lot more legroom than I expected with 8-passenger seating. The cargo room is MUCH smaller than we had with the Windstar; my mother-in-law uses a foldable wheelchair, and we can barely fit it in the back of the Acadia. If everything worked as expected on this vehicle, it would easily be 4-stars....but it hasn't, since we brought it home.

Great Value

This car fits our family of 5 perfectly! We love the way it looks and rides. The only complaint I have is the stereo system. If you have the option, go with the Bose system as the factory speakers are not so good.
