Reviews for 2011 GMC Acadia
Great touring vehicle
We've had this car for about a year and a half. It's been a very reliable vehicle. Our only trouble with it has been at 60,000 miles the power steering pump went out and we developed a knock in the steering which had us replacing rack and pinion. I don't believe this should be a problem with a vehicle with less than 100K on it, but it was a fleet vehicle before we bought it. I'm not a pro, but I choose to give the vehicle the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe it wasn't cared for as it should have been since it belonged to a fleet. Other than that, the car has been a dream to drive. We've taken it on trips half way across the US, and it's very comfortable. As long as we have no more major problems, I will buy another.
2011 GMC Acadia SLT
For the longest time my wife and I knew the day would come when we would have to move from an SUV to a more accessible mini van. We have three daughters (ranging from ages 1 to 6) and the possibility of finding a suitable SUV for under 40K seemed lost. It had to have captains (to keep the girls separated) and also have enough storage capacity for the rest of our needs (soccer, dance, gymnastics, etc) A mini van was on the docket until we saw the GMC Acadia. Love, LOVE the captains seats, came with in head rest DVD players, and gas mileage was exceptional for a "crossover" plus 23 MPG that we have experienced. The ride is smooth and we are very happy with this vehicle.
Great Car. Great Price
The car has an extremely smooth ride. The inside is quiet. Although gas consumption is not that great, the quality of the interior, the electronics are top-notch i.e. GPS, DVD, digital readouts on dash.
