I went from a 2012 Camry to this 2013 Acadia. It works for me since I have 3 small children. With the split-bench 2nd row, my 5-year-old can get in and buckle himself. It's very good if I need extra cargo space with letting part of the 3rd row down. But I don't like the car seat latch for the 3rd row. It's in the middle of the seat, which means I have to rigid my 5-year-old's high-back booster seat. But other than that it works for me, for now!
I fought every instinct in my body to purchase this Acadia. I had hoped my mother in law just got a "lemon" with her Acadia but I was wrong. I bought it because my wife and I both like the quad seats that it offers so the children would not have to climb over the second row to get to the third (yes I know the seats fold in the others but no kid will use them.) since I have bought this car I have discovered an oil leak on the front main seal, the sunroof cover "pops" open randomly while driving and the AC vent will not open and close the way it should. I should've spent the extra money and bought the TOYOTA 4Runner!!! Oh well, lesson learned
