We've had this car for about a year and a half. It's been a very reliable vehicle. Our only trouble with it has been at 60,000 miles the power steering pump went out and we developed a knock in the steering which had us replacing rack and pinion. I don't believe this should be a problem with a vehicle with less than 100K on it, but it was a fleet vehicle before we bought it. I'm not a pro, but I choose to give the vehicle the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe it wasn't cared for as it should have been since it belonged to a fleet. Other than that, the car has been a dream to drive. We've taken it on trips half way across the US, and it's very comfortable. As long as we have no more major problems, I will buy another.
I started to have problems with this vehicle after having it for 3 days. Air bag light keeps coming on, car has a vibration. There is a clicking noise when turning the steering wheel. Back seat a/c / blower went out already. Stereo volume goes up and down, it doesn't even get loud. I have only had this vehicle since may 2016 and it has been back and forth to the dealership. All items each time were fixed but continue to have the same problems. DON'T PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE!!!!
I like my Acadia but don't buy anything older than 2011

I like GMC my first sports utility was a Yukon and I drove it for 255,000 miles. It never gave me any trouble the way the Acadia has. The Acadia has been in the shop for several big repairs including steering wheel, air conditioner, catalytic converter which the warranty does not cover. All the buttons and knobs on the dashboard have paint chipping off the front panel. I think that for a $30,000 plus vehicle that I bought with 24,000 miles the workmanship should be of superior quality.
