I had fallen in love with the Acadia when they first came out a few years ago. I wanted to get away from the BIG SUV and find something comfortable for my son and I. I am a fairly tall person so I needed a lot of space in the drivers side and my son is still in a car seat so I wanted to make sure and have extra space left after the car seat was put in. When I was finally able to find the Acadia in my price range and once I sat inside, I knew it was the car for me.
Bad car car out of the lot
2015 GMC AcadiaKevin Rodriguez - Fort Worth, TX09/13/2015
My wife and I purchased our first GMC a little earlier this year. Used but it is still new even had the the new car smell inside. Only one other owner which was a car rental service. Everything checked out fine but the no accident or recall reports so we purchased the SUV.
However, we experienced some very heavy rain in our area (22days of rain straight). We started getting eater flooding in the hatch back area. It was seeping through! Brand new off the lot not soon after there was leakage! No body could figure out why. I have come to the conclusion that it was water seals on top of the SUV. Did research prior and found out that GMC has a issues with water leakage in various parts of there vehicles. Took a chance anyway & fell victim

This vehicle has room for (8). It is the perfect family vehicle. My son plays football--he is over 6 feet and 300 lbs--and we needed a vehicle with room for him, family and friends. Plus, we wanted awd, a movie player for our 10 year old and solid navigation for trips. Our vehicle has that and more. It rides like a dream, looks great, is well built, and handles fine in the snow and ice. We are constantly being told how nice our vehicle is by complete strangers. This adds to the fun of ownership. I have been told by several people that the smoothness of the ride is amazing for such a large vehicle. Before purchasing the Acadia/Denali, we test drove a Jeep, Lexus, Mercedes, Buick, Land Cruiser, and a few others. The GMC won.
