2012 GMC Acadia Art Manon - Ft LauderdaE,, FL 08/26/2016

Roomy, low maintence, sporty,

best for a family????

2008 GMC Acadia db - overland park, ks 12/03/2011

the acadia is a nice vehicle. the third row seat is not very comfortable for an adult. didnt reallly expect it to be though. the thing i really dislike is that it does not have the hooks in the seat for a carseat. it has the mount on the back of the seat but not for the strap that comes with the carseat. without the brackets, the carseats just slide around and make it an annoyance to try to click the seat into the base. other than these two things, it is really a great vehicle. we enjoy it a lot. plenty of room and nice looking. it may be our favorite vehicle we have bought.

It's been a disappointment

2007 GMC Acadia exmish - Chicagoland, IL 03/29/2011

We decided to replace our Ford Windstar: we had 120,000 miles on it, and frankly the recalls were piling up. So, because of the 8-passenger seating, we went with the Acadia. It looks great, and ours came with all of the bells and whistles. Unfortunately, we have had issue after issue, especially with those bells and whistles. The sunroofs (-rooves?) leak. We have had water coming out of the rear backup sensor lights, the overhead lights, even out of the airbag panel by the driver's seat - every time it rains. We had the drainage tubes (who knew?) flushed out and were told that they were full of pine needles (we bought pre-owned). But it still leaks. Design issue? The CD/DVD player works....most of the time. Until it doesn't. And, naturally, it will start working again about a day before I have an appointment to bring it in. I do like the look of the car, and there is a lot more legroom than I expected with 8-passenger seating. The cargo room is MUCH smaller than we had with the Windstar; my mother-in-law uses a foldable wheelchair, and we can barely fit it in the back of the Acadia. If everything worked as expected on this vehicle, it would easily be 4-stars....but it hasn't, since we brought it home.
