I owned a 2007 model with the i5 engine, had no problems and it drove very well, quiet, plenty of power, and acceptable gas mileage. I use to drive to remote places along the East Coast and after a few trips started getting leg cramps in my right leg. Baffled I figured out that the gas pedal is engineered too close to the hump in the middle. I traded the vehicle. All around this is a good truck and offers a lot of utility with that one exception that was a deal breaker for me. Hope GM hears this comment.
2012 GMC Canyon
2012 GMC CanyonJD - , 05/27/2013
The GMC Canyon is a mid-size pickup. We found all offer plenty of room for the driver and front-seat passenger. The back seat suitable for a child seat yet, with space for someone else. On the highway, the Canyon feels solid and stable, with a smooth, comfortable ride. The Canyon is aggressively styled with angular wheel arches however it still fits inside my garage. The GMC Canyon is ideal for people who need a real pickup but don't need or want the size and cost of a full-size truck. The Canyon is easy to park and is driver-friendly.
