I traded in my previous SUV to gain a little more space, a trailer hitch and 4WD. The GMC Envoy meets all of these criteria for a reasonable price. There are few SUV's that met my criteria and also were good looking and a comfortable ride. While it raised my gas usage a little, it has provided a safe drive in the snow.

We had done our homework and knew the quality of the vehicle, so all I had to do was verify that this particular vehicle was a value and wouldn't be a mechanical problem.
So far, all is good.

I am enjoying the comfort and great options of the Envoy. I had been driving a Buick Rendezvous and I had test driven several SUVs, but found the overall comfort ride was lacking in most mid-sized models. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the ride in the Envoy and the price was far more within my budget than the luxury SUVs. I think the Envoy is a great value SUV with the options found in luxury vehicles. I would recommend the 2008 Envoy to anyone in the market for an SUV that is budget-friendly, comfortable and has the bells and whistles I love.
