I wanted a SUV and was looking at the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but my husband is 6'4'' tall and did not fit in the vehicle. We are new parents and I wanted to feel safe driving our daughter. We saw the GMC Envoy and really like the look and I was very happy to see that the cargo space is large enough for the stroller and tons of shopping which most midsize SUV's did not have. We looked at the new GMC Terrain but we opted for the 2006 envoy for cargo space, interior room and comfort. It has a good get up and go, it drives very smooth. Doesn't feel like a truck. Interior is basic but that is fine for me. Only negative is there is a lot of wind noise when driving, but I have the radio on or hear the crying of a newborn - yeah- so it knocks out the wind noise.
I am very pleased with this SUV.

I am very pleased to date with my purchase. It's a very smooth ride. I have had it for 2 months and so far so good.
