2011 GMC Sierra 1500Mike Soski - San Diego, CA02/20/2016
I had my 1st Sierra for 10 years and it was the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. It was just time to update my ride, so after looking at other makes and models of full size trucks, I stayed with a Sierra. This new one has the 6.2 so I have PLENTY of power, it rides well and is very comfortable. Mine has a bed cover, so I really like that sleek look and lockable, waterproof bed.
common engine problems
2005 GMC CanyonDave - franklin, TN10/03/2014
well , with only 80K and less the a month out of the dealer, cluster panel failed and the engine started to miss fired , find out that one the cylinder head was bad , dealer was great they stand by their word took it back and let me choose another one , that was awesome from their part, apparently is a common problem in those 5 cylinder engines .
Not a 4WD
2012 GMC Sierra 1500Ken Watson - Arvada, CO11/13/2015
I should have done my homework better. It showed it was an AWD or Auto 4WD. It is not capable of handling sloppy roads or any type of off-road travel. You can not switch the vehicle into 4WD. If the wheels slip it will lock in all 4 wheels, but just for a short period of time. I bought the wrong truck.
