2006 GMC Sierra

This is my second GMC and it's a great vehicle. It's a crew cab with many amenities, including satellite radio, towing package and DVD player. The V8 gets around 17mpg with a mix of city and highway driving. It gets over 20mpg on the interstate. At 70mph the engine is turning only about 1800rpms. Towing the boat, I can hardly tell anything is back there. When using the towing gear, it doesn't switch gears until about 3000rpms, so that is a bit annoying, but otherwise it's great. I don't know if the sprayed-in bed liner is factory or aftermarket, but it's a little thin, and is worn off in some places. I'm planning to have a new liner sprayed in. All-in-all this is a truck that I enjoy driving every day.

I'm happy with the vehicle and price was fair

They are good trucks

My 2nd Sierra

I had my 1st Sierra for 10 years and it was the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. It was just time to update my ride, so after looking at other makes and models of full size trucks, I stayed with a Sierra. This new one has the 6.2 so I have PLENTY of power, it rides well and is very comfortable. Mine has a bed cover, so I really like that sleek look and lockable, waterproof bed.
