Reviews for GMC Crossovers
Great Family car
The interior is some of the best I have seen in a GMC vehicles. The Terrain drives nicely and with plenty of power with the 3.0L 6 cylinder. whoever, Because the 6 cylinder the MGP is not the best in the world. I have been able to get 22 combined. That beinging said, on the highway it get an easy 25 MPG and on flat stretches I get 30 MPG. City driving will differently kill the MPG to down around 9 MPG. For a mid sized SUV the turning radius is fantastic. The sound system well tuned with enjoyable highs and sold bass. Lastly the Terrain has a GREAT safety rating. My main complaints are the rear view camera does not have back lines and a 18 gallon gas tank can get expensive at the pump.
Would Not Recommend a used Denali
I purchased a 2015 GMC Acadia Denali (one owner prior to me owned it for 15 months) and the air conditioning went out two weeks after purchase. After repaired, it went out again two weeks later. A GMC dealership replaced the entire unit! Also, the weather stripping on top of the vehicle detaches after each car wash and flaps independently unless I manually press it securely in position. A GMC dealership informed me this is something that happens and provided no solution to make it more secure. The quality of the vehicle is not Denali (in other words, top of the line).
Decent for me!
I went from a 2012 Camry to this 2013 Acadia. It works for me since I have 3 small children. With the split-bench 2nd row, my 5-year-old can get in and buckle himself. It's very good if I need extra cargo space with letting part of the 3rd row down. But I don't like the car seat latch for the 3rd row. It's in the middle of the seat, which means I have to rigid my 5-year-old's high-back booster seat. But other than that it works for me, for now!
