I've owned my GMC Sierra 1500 for a couple of months now, and I love it. I think it's the best-looking big truck on the road today. I was considering a Toyota Tundra or Dodge Ram, but just like the look of the Sierra the best. This truck also has great power, and a comfy interior. I wish I had leather seats, and I wish the stereo system was a little nicer. Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase. I didn't rate it 5 stars because of these issues, and because I think there could be a few more "extras" in the interior, such as a holder for sunglasses. I have no regrets on my purchase, though.
There is nothing that I don't like about this truck except for the MPG which isn't as bad as I expected. I have a 2005 Crew Cab 4WD Z71 and am getting about 16 MPG. I was expecting it to be worse though. This beast has plenty of power. I have had it on asphalt, grass, gravel, dirt, and mud. It really rides very smooth. You can tell that GMC knows how to build trucks! Tons of room in the back seats, passenger seat feels liks a reclliner in somebody's living room. Quality, well buiilt truck! Excellent! I have never had a truck and wanted a 'big truck.' WOW! This truck is everything that I wanted and then some. I LOVE IT and would recommend it to everybody.
