My son calls it a beast of a truck.
I pull a 9,000lbs camper with it and have had no problems at all; you can't even tell it's there. The towing package with trailing mirrors and built in brake controls are the only way to go, it makes towing a joy and not a hassle. I haven't had the need to try out the 4WD but winter is close so Im sure I will.
The overall handling is also nice and the many extra's it came with just topped off a good work truck
The only negative things would be;
It won't pass up many gas stations, towing about 8 MPG.
The ride is typical of a 3/4 ton, hard on the back.
The brakes are real soft, if that makes sense.
Love my Sierra 2500HD
2014 GMC Sierra 2500Max - Las Vegas, NV02/24/2015
Love the interior and exterior styling of the truck. The diesel engine pulls my 11,000 lbs trailer with ease. The Allison transmission is very smooth, as well.
Way too expensive, can buy 2016 cheaper with 0m
2015 GMC Sierra 2500John Deer - Portland, OR08/07/2016
Over priced. Need to fire the guy who priced this truck. GMC dealer is selling a 2016 Denali off the show room floor with more options for 5 grand cheaper.

With that in mind, different trucks have different towing options. Whether it’s towing for work or the family vacation, here are seven used trucks that excel at pulling their weight.
