SUPER SPACIOUS AND CHILD FRIENDLY! AS A NEW MOM I NEEDED SOMETHING I FELT SAFE DRIVING MY SON AROUND. I WENT FROM A SPORT MAZDA TO A GMC TERRIAN, BEST MOVE I'VE MADE BY FAR! MILEAGE IS DECENT BUT WE DRIVE EVERY WHERE SO I CAN NOT COMPLAIN. HAS A POWER FULL ENGINE THAT KEEPS GOING WHILE HAVING THE AC ON DURING HOT SUMMER DAYS IN NEVADA.

This car is very comfortable to drive on long trips, and very easy to get in and out of, not too high off the ground yet you don't have to crawl down into it like most sedan type cars. I'm 6 feet tall and find most cars difficult to get in and out of, this car you can slide right in and out. We have taken three long trips with it so far, and have found it to be a great handling car, very comfortable stable ride, well suited for long trips as well as running errands locally.
I am going from strictly driving cars to now owning an SUV, and I'll list the 2 biggest differences/selling points.
1) the price. I have the top model of this vehicle, the Denali, and it was very affordable. I wanted built in navigation, rear view camera, and all wheel drive, but got so much more thanI expected especially moving from a foreign to a domestic manufacturer. I've been pleasantly surprised.
2) the size/maneuverability. I'm not looking to drive a bus or van by any means and its size is perfect for me. It also handles much like a car. I haven't had any problems adjusting to it from day 1 of owning and love being higher up off the ground. Plus, the interior is super quiet.
Some of the best compact SUVs today are efficient, with good power and handy features like a turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, and even third-row seats. Check out this top 10 list, based on CarMax sales data from January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017.
