We purchased this car for safety, comfort, spaciousness and good looks. We also heard some good buzz from reviewers on line about projected reliability, and we really wanted to buy an American car. The seats in front are very roomy and adjustable and the foot pedal distance is adjustable (I am quite tall). The children can easily flip down the second row seat to get to the back - a concern of mine - and they do it themselves. I think a strong 7 year old could do it. The A/C has directional vents for everyone, which is important in TX. The back liftgate is easy to manage and opens at a touch, with lots of room in the back to haul a big stroller and cooler, or 4 large suitcases.
The car handles beautifully and smoothly; it doesn't seem bulky at all... I appreciate the beeping tone and light warning system when I back up, just in case. The dashboard's brushed stainless details, the automatic lighting system & Bose stereo system are a elegant perks.
If you have a big family, don't hesitate. Pile those little ones in!
Already traded off this car without owning for one year.
Test drive was not allowed on major interstate to drive over 60mph. When vehicle gets to 70mph and 75mph it would shake. Heated and cooled seats did not work. three months post purchase the information center stated the suspension system needed maintenance. These items should never be a problem post purchase of 3 months.
Great overall car, only wish the wife would have decided on the XL for the "xtra" room. The car runs strong and the video system in the car really keeps the kids busy on drives. You don't buy these vehicles for their gas mileage but this vehicle does 18 mpg on the highway which is not bad at all and with a few after market mod's i hope to push it up to 21.
