Car overall is great! However it seems as though they tried to cut cost by putting in a non user friendly navigation system that only allows you to manipulate it when you are in park and that is pretty slow when aquiring a signal. The glossy wood trimming around the dash board is pretty tacky, and the center storage compartment release button which is on the driver side makes it difficult for the passenger to open. Another item it lacks is the ipod connector that newer vehicle typically come with. If you can overlook these items, much like I did, its a great vehicle.
It has all the bells and whistles you can expect in a high end vehicle.
We purchased this car for safety, comfort, spaciousness and good looks. We also heard some good buzz from reviewers on line about projected reliability, and we really wanted to buy an American car. The seats in front are very roomy and adjustable and the foot pedal distance is adjustable (I am quite tall). The children can easily flip down the second row seat to get to the back - a concern of mine - and they do it themselves. I think a strong 7 year old could do it. The A/C has directional vents for everyone, which is important in TX. The back liftgate is easy to manage and opens at a touch, with lots of room in the back to haul a big stroller and cooler, or 4 large suitcases.
The car handles beautifully and smoothly; it doesn't seem bulky at all... I appreciate the beeping tone and light warning system when I back up, just in case. The dashboard's brushed stainless details, the automatic lighting system & Bose stereo system are a elegant perks.
If you have a big family, don't hesitate. Pile those little ones in!
