Reviews for GMC Yukon
I love this car!
I ended up getting this car as a rental from enterprise for a long trip up to Sequoia National Park. Having never driven this car, I was blown away by the room and power that this car had to offer! Third row seats are very comfortable, and it had tons of gadgets that will help you on any trip that you may decide to take. My wife and I especially liked all the room in the front and storage compartments. It handles and turns like a European sports car, but has all the muscle under the hood to let you know it is American power. Our 400 mile trip up north was a dream and super comfortable. I would highly recommend this car to anyone. It is awesome and offers tons of luxury.
My yukon is a very good riding s u v. It has a lot of room for everyone in the 2nd row seats, only draw back is the fact that you cannot remove the 2nd row seats, and they do not lay flat when let down thus reducing cargo room. Gas milage is around 16 mpg in city and 22 mpg on the road.
We are outdoors type people. We have a pop-up camper and three Personal Water Craft and needed a vehicle to tow them with. Our 2003 GMC Yukon is the best tow vehicle I have ever owned. The GM 5.3 engine is an outstanding power plant delivering when you need it. I had two vehicles with V-6 engines and they would struggle on the Interstates sometimes on hills and such but the Yukon rolls along like nothing is behind it. The fuel mileage could be better but it is not that bad considering the vehicle's capabilities. The Yukon has the Flex-Fuel engine and can run on E-85 though the MPG is not as good. E-85 has cleaner emissions and costs a bit less than regular gas so we try to use it when we are just driving locally.
