Transmission: Automatic Color:Gray Interior Color: Brown Average Vehicle Review: (4 reviews) It is very comfortable, and easy to drive. I have taught my kids how to drive in this car. We have driven this car across the country on many trips. It's smooth and roomy. It also has lots of leg room. I love the features. While driving, I don't have to move my hands from the steering wheel to make a phone call, or to work the radio. It's great!

LazyBoys meets Yukon

Okay, so I have similar vehicles prior to our Yukon Denali such as the Lexus GX470 and BMW X5. I must say that AWD was a must for me and I wanted the luxury of the Lexus. Well I will be honest. The main reason I picked a GMC was because I wanted to make sure that town I was moving to could service the vehicles I owned. To my surprise when I moved from FL to WI the ride was great. 2 Adults 5 kids on a 2 day road trip and it was comfy. Power to spare. gas mileage is sub par but then again it is the same engine as the Z06. I am a fan of GMC. I would like to look at the newer one but our 2006 drives like new.

GMC Yukon

We bought the car primarily for towing and to cart a large dog around with us, which is why we did not select a truck (open beds not good for dogs). While it tows well with out the tow/haul mode on, it does not tow so well with it on, as our previous Yukon did. When you apply breaks with the tow/haul mode turned on, the down shift is hard and sudden which causes the car and horse trailer to jerk. I asked to have this checked and was told it was normal. Fortunately the car has enough power to tow with out the tow/haul mode on. It is comfortable to drive and has plenty of room for "stuff" and the dog. Overall, we are happy with it. We were so happy with our first Yukon (11 year!) that we decided to go with this manufacturer again.
