I've owned a Honda Accord in the past and that car started my dedication to the brand. Know I own an Accord Hybrid and get plenty of looks going down the road. It's eco-friendly, saves gas and money!!!!

Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) The car's hybrid battery failed on the second day after purchasing. We had it changed for free under warranty, but now, after 2 months of driving, the MPG is worse than for a non-hybrid. The Honda Accord Hybrid 2006 is supposed to have 25/34 but I never get above 26, even on the highway, frequently having below 20MPG. The car seems shaky and problem-prone (leaked water for no reason. Honda repair people couldn't identify the problem), windows started to squeak, strange noises coming from all parts of the car as we continue to drive it.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (5 reviews) I chose this car because I wanted comfort and great mileage. I got what I wanted and more. While the Accord Hybrid has been criticized, and rightly, for not having the equivalent gas mileage of its contemporary hybrids, it still exceeds what I would be getting in an equivalently-sized vehicle that is not a hybrid. Its acceleration and the luxury of space and comfort ensure me that I have not compromised. I did have to get used to the engine turning off at stoplights. The 'shudder', as some reviews call it, took some getting used to. I did lose some trunk space, but I don't anticipate that will ever be a problem for me. I would say this car is probably a little better for a taller person. The doors are pretty heavy and the proportions are geared toward larger persons, at least for entering and exiting on the driver's side. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Underperforming hybrid worse than a non-hybrid

Love It!

I think this is possible the best vehicle Honda has created in a long time. Performance, Reliabilty, Comfort, Price. They are all present in this vehicle. And to top it all off I get real world MPG's of 30-33. I have even gotten as high as 35 MPG on a long trip. Forget all other hybrids and choose the Accord. You will NOT be dissapointed.
