Great car -

2009 Honda Accord docgil - Raleigh, NC 07/20/2011

I needed a reliable car with good mileage. I am very happy with the Accord. For its size it is roomy inside and has a very comfortable ride. The mileage is great. Even though it is the 4-cylinder is has more that adequate power.

Best Purchase Experience

2009 Honda Accord Silque - Decatur, GA 01/11/2012

First of all, I never thought about buying a coupe. I knew that I wanted a Honda because of the dependability, reviews and awards it has won. I was most impressed with the way my coupe handles. It has enough power to get up and go when necessary. I love the sleekness of it and especially the leg room. It is very comfortable and plenty of trunk space if needed. I definitely got my money's worth...fully loaded. I love the sporty look of it and I get plenty of compliments on it. My youngest son, who is almost 22, loves it. I may have to give it to him and buy another one...although, not anytime soon. LOL. I am enjoying driving it and I'm not one that likes to drive, but this is a fun car to drive. That says a lot for me. I recommend buying a Honda, period.

2009 Honda Accord Overview

The ubiquitous Honda Accord is known for its value, reliability and overall comfort. A major redesign in 2008 introduced the roomier and more powerful 2009 Honda Accord.

Features & Specs

The 2009 Honda Accord seats up to five people and is available in a few levels of trims to cater to specific preferences. The sedan comes in LX, LX-P, EX, and EX-L trim levels while the coupe comes in LX-S, EX, and EX-L trims. Each trim comes with different packages of features that focus on driver and passenger experiences. For example, the EX-L trim sedan gains a sunroof, in-dash CD exchange, leather upholstery, auto-on headlights, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

Standard across all trims is a suite of convenience features commonly found in most vehicles, including front and rear cupholders, remote trunk release, and audio and cruise controls on the steering wheel. In-car entertainment includes an auxiliary audio input, AM/FM stereo, six total speakers, and sensitive volume control.

Design & Performance

The 2009 Honda Accord is an affordable vehicle that is designed to appeal to just about each type of consumer. The 2009 model year retains a lot of the same great qualities the 2008 redesign brought to the table. It's still the sedan that drives as a mix of coordinated handling and comfort. With excellent steering and capabilities in the city or on the highway, the Honda Accord drives smoothly with snappy acceleration and efficient fuel economy. The 2009 Accord is a good blend of value and efficiency that's competitive against many other models.

Powertrain & Engine

The 2009 Honda Accord offers a 2.4L four-cylinder engine available with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic. A larger version of the same engine is available in the EX trim with an optional upgrade to a 3.0L V6 engine. The Honda Accord's impressive fuel economy makes this vehicle great for commuting and other daily uses.

Body Style & Interior Comfort

The Honda Accord has always ensured that its interior quality that is superior in the minds of consumers, and it pays off. Though the 2009 edition keeps up with the Honda Accord's high standards, it's no surprise that competing family mid-size sedans have taken notice and upgraded their interior quality and other interior comforts across their trims and packages.
