Satisfied Buyer

Overall, very satisfied with my Honda. I purchased a V6 so it has a little go go. Not the best on gas but I appreciate it's spunk. I drives solid and handles well. I know I made the right decision! Thanks

I purchased my vehicle from Carmax in Columbia, SC. The staff was awesome. I had in mind what I wanted and they helped me accomplish the deal. This is my second vehicle and I know that it will last me a lifetime. I would recommend Carmax to any and all of my friends and family members. The car runs smooth and so far I am very happy with it. It did not have to many miles for the price offered.

2007 Accord EX

I sold my 4Runner and started looking for an entry level luxury sedan, such as Acura, Lexus, Audi, or BMW. I had come to the conclusion that I wanted leather, sunroof, automatic everything, and a V6 engine. More importantly, I wanted something that would NOT spend more time in the repair shop than my driveway, or cost me an arm and a leg for routine maintenance. I found it very difficult to find something well maintained with less than 60,000 miles priced under $25k. Most of the reviews that I read about Audi and BMW were less than favorable, and started to scare me. So I began to focus on Acura and Lexus for their legendary Japanese reliability and strong re-sale value. The only Lexus that I liked that didn't remind me of someone's grandmother's car was the IS 250 and 350. However, they were definitely on the smaller side as sedans go, and prices are at a premium due to their high popularity. Most that met my criteria had prices that ranged from $25k to $29k for used late models. That was way above my budget. The Acura TSX was the right size for me, but I didn't like the fact that it didn't come with a V6, and the ones in my price range often didn't have leather. Some were standard vs. automatic. That didn't necessaril bother me, but I worried about re-sale value since fewer and fewer people drive stick shifts anymore. I had noticed the 06 and 07 Accord models as I drove around town, and admired their sporty yet conservative styling. In my opinion, their body style is much more appealing than newer 08-10 models, which tend to look much more angular and resemble the blandness of a Ford or GM product. Once I compard the features of an 07 Accord EX V6 to Acura and Lexus, I was sold. In my opinion, I found all of the luxury and performance that I was looking for in a car that cost me thousands less. I was initially disappointed that my search led me to an Accord EX that was Moroccan Red Pearl with gray leather interior, since I favored a blue or silver car at the time. But I quickly realized it was a stunning color and stands out in a sea of blander whites, grays, and silvers that are so predominant today. I constantly get compliments on it from neighbors and friends. Whenever I travel around town with office colleagues, they want to ride in the Accord. I've owned two Accords before, but this 07 generation is miles ahead of what I owned in the early and mid 90's in terms of performance and styling. It's a pleasure to own and drive. I highly recommend the 06 or 07 Accord.
