I test drove 2 other cars prior to test driving the Civic. Once I returned from the test drive, I decided not to test drive any other vehicles. I like the layout of the car, the comfort and feel while seated in it. It wasn't my first choice but was the car I decided on after the test drive.

Respectable MPG's for a four seat sport compact, I have averaged 27.5 mpg over the life of the car. The helical limited slip front diff on the Si puts the power down well in traction limited situations. Handling is excellent and predictable once you fit better summer only tires. By far the biggest perk though is the wonderful K24 engine and fantastic six speed manual in the Si. Probably one of the best shifting manual transmissions on the market. The K24 has been 100% reliable and loves to spend life near redline.
Very smooth, I get on average 44+ mpg on the highway. I take trips all the time to NY, NJ, PA, Maine, and VT for races so the fact that my gas mileage is that high definitely saves a lot on gas. Rides very quiet as well, not like an electric car but way quieter than my old 2008 Mazda RX-8

Plus, it combines good gas mileage with lively performance and plenty of interior space. For those who enjoy the experience of driving, Accords are known for their firm ride, good handling, and responsive steering.
