2012 Honda CivicRobert K - Edgewater, MD07/16/2015
This is a fantastic commuter car. I drive 130 miles a day round trip, five days a week for work. I have gotten up to 42.5 miles per gallon on the highway and my average is 37.5 miles per gallon for an entire take of gas. I do a lot of high traffic driving in the Washington DC area, so this kind of mileage is great! The car handles great and is pretty comfortable for its size and class. Bang for the buck, you really can't go wrong. Yes, there are cars on the market that get better mileage, but Honda's long term reliability is hard to beat.
EX-L model; I enjoy the amenities and love the sunroof. A little more than I wanted to pay but worth it. Can't believe with everything it does have that it does not have a compass! I miss that from my old car. And with everything electronic now, the radio doesn't show the name of the song playing on the radio? This is odd to me. The gas mileage highway is around 28 instead of the 39 it is rated. Bummer since that was the reason for me purchasing this car.
This car is amazing. Solid and reliable car with great fuel mileage. I travel between VA and AL very frequently. I can go 709 miles while only spending $35 on gas! Plus the car is very roomy and classy looking. It's an affordable vehicle that offers classy sleek looks with luxury and reliability!
