It hauls a lot of cargo and passengers comfortably, and is ergonomically designed. It also has a solid sound system and the MPG isn't bad for its class. Biggest complaints are poor visibility, rough ride, and slow acceleration. But it is after all a Honda, not a Cadillac. So it's designed to be an inexpensive, reliable, and pleasant car to drive. And that is a job that it does exceedingly well.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Red Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.235294117647059 reviews) It has plenty of room, is comfortable on long trips, good mileage, etc. The only think I don't like is that it will automatically lock all doors once you reach 4 or 5 miles per hour, which is fine, but it doesn't unlock them once you park and turn off the engine. If you forget, and try to get something out of the back or passenger side, you have to go back and unlock it. Other than that, it's great and I love it!

Reviews for 2010 Honda CR-V

Overall Rating

4.2 out of 5 (17 reviews)

I love by Honda CRV! Comfortable and beautiful

It has plenty of room, is comfortable on long trips, good mileage, etc.

Pros

  • Cargo Space:
  • Styling:
  • Ride and Handling:

Some idiosyncrasies, but great car for the price!

Great car overall.

Pros

  • Reliability: It's a Honda, so you know you've got solid reliability there. So far, everything's worked exactly how it's supposed to - even on a car with 82,000 miles when I bought it.
  • Interior Space: Very spacious interior with lots of headroom and legroom - even in the back seat. The cargo area is really well designed and holds a lot of junk.
  • Weather Versatility: Drives really well in wet weather and is pretty high up off the ground. I live in a swamp that floods all the time but I've never had a problem in my CRV

Cons

  • Visibility: This is my biggest complaint. The 2010 CRV has the worst visibility of any car I've ever driven. The rear end of the vehicle is wide and the rear windows are small. I'm always afraid I'm going to back into something directly behind me but too low to see in the rear window.
  • Power: This car accelerates like a drunken snail. The engine is grossly underpowered. It suits my needs as a fairly conservative driver, but if acceleration is something you're looking for, I'd steer away from this model.
  • Ride and Handling: This is probably part of the whole CRV motif, but the ride is rough and loud. It doesn't bother me that much but it drives my girlfriend crazy. It handles really well for a car its size, though.

- Joseph Trytten, 2010 Honda CR-V

There are only a few cars I would buy with 100K miles

This is a solid, reliable, well engineered, fully featured car. Even at 5 years old and 102K it rides like a new car. The interior is spacious and comfortable. The model we purchased has all the amenities one expects in a modern car and, being a Honda, everything work.

Pros

  • Reliability: 100K+ miles and perfectly reliable
  • Weather Versatility: Love the all-wheel-drive
  • Cost to Maintain: Minimal regular service. Timing chain, not a belt.

Cons

  • Technology and Entertainment: The touch screen audio/nav system is a bit dated
  • Fuel Economy: Not great, but OK for an AWD vehicle.
