Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.58 reviews) It's a size-conscious SUV. Good-sized cargo area with enough room for small furniture, passenger areas are compact without feeling cramped. Driver's seat has easy access to all controls. One strange thing about my car is that the mileage has been dropping like a rock since I got it. I make a lot of trips on the same 180-mile stretch of highway. When I first got the car I was averaging 30-32 MPG on that route, now I'm getting about 22 MPG 5 months later. No idea what's causing it.

Unpredictable mileage, good car otherwise

Some idiosyncrasies, but great car for the price!

Great car overall. It hauls a lot of cargo and passengers comfortably, and is ergonomically designed. It also has a solid sound system and the MPG isn't bad for its class. Biggest complaints are poor visibility, rough ride, and slow acceleration. But it is after all a Honda, not a Cadillac. So it's designed to be an inexpensive, reliable, and pleasant car to drive. And that is a job that it does exceedingly well.

All of the online complaints in one car.

I would not recommend this vehicle for the transmission / torque converter issue. This is my 2nd and 12th year with a CRV. Both of my vehicles had the same issue with the tranny & torque converter. The common AC issue has struck with this vehicle - the internet cites that it's an issue with poorly shielded AC parts which overheat and disintegrate the wiring and parts causing the AC to fail. I am also having an issue with oil consumption - no leaks whatsoever - but it "uses" a quart every 2000 miles. Honda / Mechanics may tell you that this is normal - I disagree. This is the first car I've ever had that I had to check the oil in that didn't have a leak. The locks are 100 % manual and it's wired for electronic. but wait - There's more.......
