2010 Honda CR-VJoseph Trytten - New Orleans, LA07/06/2016
Great car overall. It hauls a lot of cargo and passengers comfortably, and is ergonomically designed. It also has a solid sound system and the MPG isn't bad for its class. Biggest complaints are poor visibility, rough ride, and slow acceleration. But it is after all a Honda, not a Cadillac. So it's designed to be an inexpensive, reliable, and pleasant car to drive. And that is a job that it does exceedingly well.
Very Happy Driving this Car!
2014 Honda CR-VS C - Alexandria, VA12/21/2017
I previously owned a 2002 CR-V (which I was also very happy driving), and this vehicle replaced it. The 2014 gets great fuel mileage - around 25.6 MPG on average for me - I'm happy for that! With just 4 cylinders, it is still peppy enough to handle on-ramps to interstates with ease. I haul musical instruments, music and equipment to gigs and rehearsals and love that the back seats fold down with the easy pull of a lever from the "trunk." The front console also works well for me. My purse fits in the compartment next to me - within easy reach. And I like having the Bluetooth capability for phone calls and listening to music. And I get compliments on its appearance. It is a very comfortable car all around!
We use this for travel to Florida from Northern Virginia as well as shorter vacation trips (Rehoboth Beach, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Philadelphia, etc.) and general local travel. It is remarkably roomy and comfortable. Although the motor is "only" a four, I have had not problem getting to eighty mph on the way south and logging 30+ miles per gallon doing it. My model has navigation which means it also has nine speakers and a 300 watt amplifier. The sound is great. The navigation system has been very easy to use and accurate (I did update to the 2016 software). I highly recommend this family vehicle for travelers.
