Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.351 reviews) The vehicle has been great for my needs: a daily commuter that gets decent fuel economy and can seat 4 adults comfortably (bigger than the Civic I had previously). Handles and brakes well, comfortable to ride in, should be very reliable long-term, easy to get in and out of, controls are convenient and well-placed.

This is the second one I have owned (passed the first one on to my daughter), and I love it. I'm up high enough to see well in traffic, it's very comfortable, fuel economy is good, it looks good, and I feel safe driving it.

Roomy but reasonable

The CR-V cabin and body are roomy without being too big--a great vehicle size for a small family. It gets excellent gas mileage, and rides smoothly. Like my previous Honda, it is reliable and requires virtually no work beyond routine maintenance. I was slightly disappointed in the cargo space. I could slide a stroller very easily into the trunk of my Civic, and I expected at least that much depth in the CR-V; however, I have to put the stroller in sideways, which is a little inconvenient when wrangling a toddler because I can't do it with one hand like I could in my sedan. It does have a blindspot that took some getting used to.

Excellent value for a mid size SUV

Pilot rides and handles like a luxury vehicle. Great gas mileage for a vehicle of this size. Design, materials and fit and finish are flawless. Reviews that make mention of cheap interior plastic parts, must not typically drive vehicles made after 1970.

Sweet, sweet ride

I have the 2012 V6 AWD EX-L model (no nav). It's the 5th car I've owned so far, and by far my favorite. First off the exterior looks freaking awesome. It's a ninja wagon. The interior is super sleek black leather with some subtle vanity lighting. I surf and play in a band. It's got enough space for my shortboards and a couple dudes. I can fit enough stuff for duo gigs, or if I need to fit my full drum set I can drop the back seats and it all fits well. The engine is powerful enough to merge/pass very effectively. It handles like a car on steroids, very stable feel and smooth as butter. I'm getting about 400 miles to a tank (freeway) which translates to just under 30 mpg (if I drive fairly conservatively). I say get one.
