Some idiosyncrasies, but great car for the price!

Great car overall. It hauls a lot of cargo and passengers comfortably, and is ergonomically designed. It also has a solid sound system and the MPG isn't bad for its class. Biggest complaints are poor visibility, rough ride, and slow acceleration. But it is after all a Honda, not a Cadillac. So it's designed to be an inexpensive, reliable, and pleasant car to drive. And that is a job that it does exceedingly well.

I heart my Honda CRV!!

I have grown to love my CRV. Honda is a brand name I trust as I've owned 4 of them. You don't get this car to tow a boat! The pick-up is surprising for a 4 cylinder and the gas mileage is great! you'll appreciate it every time you stop at a gas station. Cargo space is a plus as I was able to bring home a large piece of furniture and was amazed that it fit with no discomfort to me driving home. The seat comfort is a low issue for me as any long trip where your driving a car can get a little uncomfortable. Interior does look modest but it's not a luxury car! I've read other reviews on here and am surprised that one could view the price and options then expect more than they paid for! Overall, I am one satisfied owner!!

Very Functional

We were looking for a very functional car for my growing family, 4 kids 8 and under. This car has served us very well in that capacity. It is a mini-van missing the 3rd row. With the rear row laid down completely, there is quite a bit of room. My wife has already started to use it as her enclosed truck as far as transporting all of her things. We have the 4 cylinder engine and it is seems to be lacking in torque as it is slow off the line, but as a family vehicle and wagon, it is works fine. The biggest deterrent would be the blind spots on the car. Given the design of the hatch there are significant blind spots using the rear-view mirror. Honda compensated for this with larger side-view mirrors, but it takes some getting used to.
