Drivability and handling is very good.
Mileage is about 600 miles on a tank, and we are very impressed with the economics.
Note that the insurance is slightly higher than I had expected and they indicate it is due to repair costs being higher on a hybrid. However, I think the other pros outweigh this, the only con I can come up with.
I drive a great deal, about 110 miles per day. The car is comfortable to drive for the distance. I have also noticed that mileage has actually improved, now about 50 miles per gallon the longer I drive the car. If you're driving a distance, I definitely recommend the Insight.
Smooth Ride on smooth roads. Rock solid reliable
2010 Honda InsightAri Adams - Fort Myers, FL03/30/2017
The car is very cheap to run. it has been reliable and a good used value for people on a budget It is practical, enough room up front and practical. Not a car that everyone has. Youthful, great turning radius. Smoother ride than you expect in a smooth road. However this car has atypical depreciation not sure why, and the driver's seat after an hour of driving gets me in a bad mood. Very low padding in the bum, and weird nonadjustable lumbar support that may make me trade it in at a loss.
So you’re considering a Honda Accord as your next car. It’s a good choice—the Accord is very highly-regarded in any of its available variants. Plus, it combines good gas mileage with lively performance and plenty of interior space. For those who enjoy the experience of driving, Accords are known for their firm ride, good handling, and responsive steering.
