Awesome car for a family with young kids!

Honda certainly had a young family in mind when they designed this vehicle. We can fit all three of our car seats across the second row if we want. The seats can be positioned in several ways to allow for flexibility. We took all three kids (in car seats) to IKEA and still had the cargo room to bring back 4 large boxes (2 88" long). I love how I can have my hands full and just hit a button to open/close the side doors or the rear hatch. The NAV system integrates so well with our phones and the audio options are nice also!

Pros

  • Interior Space: So much room! 3 car seats across middle row if you want
  • Safety: Rated 5 stars!
  • Technology and Entertainment: electronic doors, rear camera, Voice System for NAV, audio, phone and climate control, HDD in audio, etc...

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: It is a little noisier than I'd like but the pros far outway

Got pretty much everything I wanted

The Odyssey is the best fit for my family now that we have 3 kids. Out of all the minivans, it had the most options for configuring car seats. The screen for the backup camera is nice and big which is really useful for seeing those blindspots when you're in reverse. My 5 year old has no problems with moving the second row seat to be able to get in and out of the third row. This wasn't true for other vans that we tried. We also looked at several dealerships and CarMax had a very comparable price. The difference was that we didn't have to haggle to get to it. The buying process was very streamlined and there wasn't any problems getting anything fixed that we pointed out before we took it home.

Pros

  • Interior Space: Plenty of space for a family of five
  • Reliability: Odysseys last for a really long time
  • Dashboard: The screen is nice and big

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: It can be difficult to hear passengers in the rear once it gets going at higher speeds

Good working car but...

Car runs really well, smooth ride BUT it was sold with problems that were unknown to me at the time of sell. I have already had to put $1800 into repairs for the van and I have only had the car for 3 months! All the buttons on my key do not work. For an expensive car note I shouldn't have had to add $1800 to my expanses when the car was sold under the pretense that everything was in great condition.

Pros

  • Interior Space:
  • Dashboard:
  • Seat Comfort:

Cons

  • Cost to Maintain:
  • Fuel Economy:
  • Technology and Entertainment: does not have navigation or rear view screen
