Honda Odyssey

Couldn't be happier with our 2010 Honda Odyssey. I put a hitch on it, and have been using it to tow a 5x8 trailer full of band-equipment. I have had zero problems with it, and the ride is VERY comfortable for the entire band. Five stars!

2100 v 2000 Honda Odyssey

We had a 2000 Odyssey with 140,000 miles which we passed along to a child with two young children of his own. My wife's requested another Odyssey even though all of our children have left the nest, since she likes the cargo carrying capacity of it and its dependability (our other car is a 2006 BMW which is more of a garage queen than a reliable daily driver). We just returned from a 1500 mile trip to NC mountains. The Odyssey performed admirably. The transmission was smooth even when driving up and down mountain roads. The suspension made it fun to drive on the back, curvy two-laners. External wind noise was minimal at highway speeds. It had plenty of power to merge into and keep up with the flow of traffic on I-95. The front/back A/C is sufficient to keep up with our FL summers. The newer 2010 Odyssey is significantly quieter and smoother than our 2000 (we live in an area with brick streets), and the rear seat stowage more sophisticated and flexible. Cupholders abound, the leather seats seem sufficiently sturdy to take daily abuse (the 2000 had cloth which also held up well) and we've gotten accustomed to the dash-mounted automatic tranny shifter. And I get to have a car to run to a nursery and load dirty stuff into the back, pick up guests and their luggage, and even transport the occasional wheelchair or motorized scooter. We've have owned several Mercedes, Audi A8, BMW 330ci, Q45 Infinity, and the Honda is not those cars, but it sure does what it intends to do well all of the time.

2010 Honda Odyssey EX-L

I bought this one-owner, gently-used 2010 Honda Odyssey EX-L van with 11,000 miles as a quick replacement for a car that was destroyed in an accident. I got lucky finding this 2010 van available as there weren't any similar models on the market ... everyone is keeping theirs! My wife has had 4 Odysseys up to this point, all bought new and she is currently driving a 2008 Touring model, so I knew this would be an easy and safe choice. Yes, we are a 2-Odyssey family! It fits my lifestyle with having 2 kids and enjoying tailgating / camping at races. It looks great inside & out, is roomy & comfortable , easy to drive, has lots of convenience & performance features. I like the fact the engine will cut to running on a reduced number of cylinders to save fuel when at cruising speed. (The only thing I don't like are the sun visors that can't block the full width of the side windows when turned in that position.) I knew if I ever needed another car, an Odyssey would be on my short list to choose from. Another good thing is Odysseys are built in the USA.
