Used 2008 Honda Odyssey Touring in Dulles, VA for Sale
Reviews for 2008 Honda Odyssey
I fought tooth and nail to not get a mini van. I'd like to think that I put up a valiant effort, but looking back I'm not sure I ever had a chance. That being said, I'm really glad we purchased the Odyssey. It has a lot of room, a really comfortable ride, and lots of great features. The video system is so great! The kids can watch a DVD in the back and I can listen to XM radio in the front. I love it. Also the seats fold down really easily and provides plenty of storage for all of our luggage and baby accoutrement. We test drove a couple other vans, and they seemed to be underpowered and they just didn't seem to be of the same quality of the Odyssey. Overall, a great car and I'm really glad we bought this over another option...like an SUV (who would want one of those anyways).
Very happy with my Honda Odyssey. Previously owned a 2002 Toyota Sienna. The auxiliary MP3 port plus engine technology are good upgrades over the 2007 Odyssey. The kids immediately loved the Odyssey. Versatile seating features and the capacity to seat 8 has been a game changer! Fold flat 3rd row and split bench is great for rolling bicycles right in. Do pay attention to driving habits in order to maximize fuel economy.
Honda Beats Toyota
I just traded in a Toyota Sienna for the Honda Odyssey. I would recommend the Honda over the Toyota except for the transmission - the new VSA system on the Honda is weird. You constantly feel the engine drop from 6 cylinders to 4 and back to 6. This is a fuel efficiency feature but it is quite annoying. You constantly feel like the transmission is slipping. You can turn the feature off but it automatically comes on every time you start the engine. We always turn it off unless we are driving on a freeway. If you turn it off, a big triangle warning light stays lit on the instrument panel. Other than this quirky feature, the Honda outperforms the Toyota -steering is way better than Toyota and it just feels like a much more solid vehicle. A bit too many childproof features I think but you can get around those.
