I bought a black Honda Pilot, 2009 Touring Edition last month and have gotten so many compliments at work. My car just stands out above all the rest of the cars in the parking lot. I love the navigation system, the sound of the stereo, the tailgate that automatically lifts up when I have to load groceries. So roomy and safe for my two little grandsons. I know they are safe in that car. This is the best car ever.
I have not enjoyed a car so much in a very long time. The comfort and performance beat all the others that I tried. I love the outdoors and the only thing lacking were the leather seats, which I have taken care of already, so this car is for the enjoyment of the ride. Gas milage is not that great, but it is worth the price for everything else that I do get driving this car. I would highly recomend it to anyone who enjoys comfort and dependability.
Great all-around mountain vehicle for variable road conditions. However, going from an Odyssey to the Pilot was tough: the loss of space and comfort is a hard reminder that the Odyssey is all about moving people and stuff. The pilot has very good space ratings for a mid-size SUV, but falls way short of the Odyssey. There's a slight rattle in the driver side window, and the automatic hatch in back has sometimes misfired. But the Pilot feels very sturdy and solid on the road, offers an elevated view of the road ahead, and has decent acceleration. For a mid size SUV, it has everything I need--adequate space for 3 rows of adults and day-trip storage behind the third row. Great -resale, but that also means a little more spendy than other choices of similar model year cars.
