Transmission: Automatic Color:Gold Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.644444444444445 reviews) Plenty of room. Seats are very comfortable for a long drive. Fuel economy could be better, I average 17-20 mpg. Versatility of the storage area with fold down seats you can customize the area. Visibility out of the vehicle is great too. Little features Honda builds in are a plus. If the wipers are on and you shift into R, the rear wiper activates to clear your view. When in reverse, the outside mirror will point down to assist curb clearance. You pick which side by selecting the mirror.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.644444444444445 reviews) We searched for a 3rd row SUV and compared the Pilot with the Toyota Highlander and the GMC Acadia. We chose this one because it had more space for 2nd and 3rd row seating and considerable more space in the back. We liked the Acadia a lot as well, but it didn't have the same reputation as a dependable, long-lasting SUV. We've had it for a few months now and still love it.

Honda Pilot - Great Family Car

Plenty of room. Pros

  • Cabin Noise: It's quiet inside
  • Interior Space: plenty of room and adjustable too.
  • Seat Comfort: Grear on long trips.

Cons

  • Fuel Economy: Could be better.
  • Technology and Entertainment: Onboard GPS is lackluster abd very expensuve to update.

Great SUV with 3rd Row!

We searched for a 3rd row SUV and compared the Pilot with the Toyota Highlander and the GMC Acadia. We chose this one because it had more space for 2nd and 3rd row seating and considerable more space in the back. We liked the Acadia a lot as well, but it didn't have the same reputation as a dependable, long-lasting SUV. We've had it for a few months now and still love it.

Pros

  • Interior Space: Lots of leg room even in the 3rd row!
  • Cargo Space: Extra space available in the back with cargo container
  • Styling: Cool looking SUV

Cons

  • Ride and Handling: It rides like a truck
  • Braking: It's a lot of car to stop... so plan wisely
  • Seat Comfort: Not the most comfortable -- but we have the base model
