I've wanted the Hummer H3 since it's first appearance in early/mid 2000's. For whatever reasons, that notion was abandoned, until recently. My SLK was getting a bit tiresome and as much as I loved that car, it was time to move on. I wanted and needed passenger space and cargo space. So, once again, I opted for an SUV and yes, in this time of bad economy and worst gas prices and mileages. I intended another vehicle, but that particular one, had issues. Then I reacquainted myself with the H3. I read other reviews, did my research and found my vehicle. Yes, there's virtually no pick up, and that's being polite. Gas mileage is NOT great, but not too far off from my last two sportscars. So, I down graded the fuel selection to compensate the lost mileage. Love the handling, the ride, smooth like a luxury car/auto. Love the room, the look, the style, very "military-user friendly". Only real issues, going into this particular H3, the parking brake and/or the sensors, is not functioning as it should. I think, it's not releasing itself, when disengaged. I hope this is an isolated matter and I will soon take it to have it looked at. The antenna is difficult to remove, to take through a car wash. As of date, I've not been able to remove. Aside from that, I do like this vehicle very much.
Hummer- nothing compares! Awesome, sporty and classy all in one. My adult toy!
Great car with real comfort when driving. My only complaints are the 5 cylinder engine (lack of power) and some slight rattiling that I can't get sorted from the door panels. There isn't a lot of cargo capacity but then again that's not what the H3 is about. You drive the H3 and it makes a statement, especially a bright red H3. I'll probably move up to the H2 with my next purchase.
