I bought it because I do a lot of expressway driving and needed to sit high enough to see traffic issues. This car has so much get up and go. It is the 3.5L, 6 cylinder model. It has so much power. I just love it if i need to take off quickly or get around in traffic Handles well, has short wheel base for easy U-turns....just a great car!

My previous three cars were Honda Accord (11 years), Mercedes 190e (1 year), and Lexus RX 300 (10 years). We purchased a Sonata in 2014 and that great experience led us to the Santa Fe. We have owned the 2011 Santa Fe for 5 months so far and still love it.

I had to purchase 4 new tires and was told that the tires were the original ! THEY WERE 10 YEARS OLD. According to the tire salesperson they should have been replaced years ago. The car had 0ver 60000 miles. Would you put 10 yrs old tires on your car?

Still happy with my choice
