The 2006 Hyundai Accent is actually a good car. You normally do not hear people talking about Hyundai. I was reluctant to buy it after seeing many nagative forums about Hyundai. After researching the Hyundai company I was extremely pleased and saw that the company has came a long way since its beginings.
The cars are build quite well now compared to how they used to be and actually compared to alot of the more common names out there. I checked the crash test ratings on it and was pleased with the results. At one time Hyundai was sturggling to make sales but now their sales are going up.
There a few things I would make changes about the car though. If your looking for a car with a loud stereo then do not buy this car. The volume level goes up to 35 only and its not that loud. I would like the locks to lock automacticly when I reach a certain speed. If your looking for a "fast car" then do not buy this car. It does not have good "pick up". You really have to push the pedal to move it. But once it gets going, it goes.
