Overall, the Accent is a great vehicle. It has quite a bit of room in side, but, is still a small and nimble car. LOVE the XM radio, and the USB integration with the stereo system. Can plug in a USB drive directly and play music right from the memory stick (just don't leave it plugged in when you turn of the car, corrupts the usb drive).
I can also vouch for the safety aspects of the vehicle. In a rear-end collision, the other driver had both his air bags deploy, I spilled a little soup I was bringing home. Crumple zones did their job, the rear took most of the impact and I walked away fine.
5-speed gets great mileage

Easy on the wallet at the gas pump, easy to drive, even easier to fit into parking spots. Love the hatch back and fold down back seats - tons of room. Also, hatch back is fantastic for unloading. No reaching down in a trunk to lift out heavy items.

I bought the Accent because it was a more comfortable ride than it's American counterparts, was more affordable than the other foreign competitors, and it has a great manufacturer's warranty that goes with it. I've taken it on several 5+ hour trips and gets about 36 on the highway. Handles pretty well, but only thing is the 110 horsepower leaves a little something to be desired. I had no problem however navigating the interstates at 70+ speeds. In terms of value it is the best I could find for being a young adult and using the car only for myself and I work in the auto industry so I did a lot of research.
