Though small in size, the Hyundai Accent has great speed, especially with the 5 speed stick shift. Maintenance is pretty low and for someone without a whole lot of people to carry around, it's perfect for maneuvering in traffic and finding parking spaces, especially in crowded cities. The gas mileage is pretty good, costing roughly $30 to fill up. There are some problems with the spark plugs going out rather quickly, but Hyundai has increased the warranty for the car to cover these problems.
Great gas mileage! I get around 35 mpg. ? I live in Columbus, Ohio and make trips to Northwest Illinois to visit family. The cost for gas is outstanding round trip! The vehicle runs really smooth and I enjoy the features it has. I purchased the vehicle with very low miles and the price was excellent. The only issue was a personal one, I had to get used to driving low to the ground since, I have been driving a SUV for the last 12 years. I'm planning to give this one to my daughter and probably, purchase another one. Yes, I like it that much!
I would recommend this car because first of all its small and compact, which allows me to fit anywhere and get around much quicker. It's fast and allows me to stop quickly when getting off the high way. The windows are super tinted so you can hardly see inside my car. It gives me 37 MPG so that's a bonus. Their are a few things I don't like. I don't like that when I let go of gas it slows down, what I mean by this is that it's as if the car stops its self in a way. The side mirrors should have a better more wider design because there is a major blind spot on my drivers side. I would recommend those tiny little mirrors attached to the regular side mirrors. And the wheel is a little stiff and hard to move. I'm not used to it.
