Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.143 reviews) The 2011 Hyundai Accent is a good little car. It runs well and has great gas milage. What I don't like is the air flow controls. I wish you could have the air circulate inside the car when defogging is on rather than being forced to get outside air. I don't like sitting in traffic trying to defog my windshield because I get all the exhaust from the cars around me. I love the ipod plug inside the car, but I don't like that you have to use their special cord. I also love that you can control the ipod with the car controls! Overall, a great car. I would highly recommend!

Exactly what we were looking for

My wife and I were looking for a smaller, fuel efficient car mostly for her to commute to work. We had a relatively limited budget, but we didn't want to get too old a car, or one that would only last us a couple of years. We were pointed in exactly to direction we wanted to go by our Carmax dealer. He didn't waste time showing us cars he knew we wouldn't be able to afford, or would be more car than we needed. The Hyundai Accent we got isn't the flashiest or sportiest car, but it does what we need it to do. Its clean, gets great gas mileage and has power everything. The satellite radio is great too.

Accent

I wanted an economy car to get me from home to work and back, and I found the ACCENT and it has been wonderful so far. It gets a better gas mileage then my FORD Mustang which had an 8 cylinder engine. I am in my late 40's and not into fast vehicles and just wanted a great car and got it in an ACCENT.

Great Little Car for the Money!

I've had my 2011 Hyundai Accent for just over a month, now, and am very pleased at the great gas mileage I'm getting compared to the small truck I was driving. I'm not a mechanic, but I've noticed the car reacts very quickly (not sure why that is) when trying to avoid a pot hole, an inattentive driver, etc. and has very good pickup when trying to get onto the freeway from an on-ramp. I love having electronic windows and locks because my truck did not have those. Because I'm short, I love having the sun visor extension in the afternoon while driving home. The trunk is massive & the back seat folds down to allow for really large items to be transported. There are possibly two negatives (if you want to call them negatives) and that is that this little car does not seem to hug the road when you're driving on an off-ramp with a sharp curve, so you really have to slow it down, but that's probably the smarter thing to do anyway! The other thing is it's a small car and sits very low, so I wonder sometimes if people driving SUVs and semi-trucks see me! Makes me want to put one of those flags on my bumper like kids put on their bicycles! :) I would recommend this car to anyone. I love mine!
