Used 2011 Hyundai Accent GS for Sale
Reviews for 2011 Hyundai Accent
2011 Hyundai Accent GLS 4 dr sedan
It gets good mileage and it's easy to drive, but the thing that impresses me most is the Hyundai warranty. Had a problem with the O2 sensor at 35,000 miles and it was replaced without charge. Great service by Hyundai dealer.
Great Little Car for the Money!
I've had my 2011 Hyundai Accent for just over a month, now, and am very pleased at the great gas mileage I'm getting compared to the small truck I was driving. I'm not a mechanic, but I've noticed the car reacts very quickly (not sure why that is) when trying to avoid a pot hole, an inattentive driver, etc. and has very good pickup when trying to get onto the freeway from an on-ramp. I love having electronic windows and locks because my truck did not have those. Because I'm short, I love having the sun visor extension in the afternoon while driving home. The trunk is massive & the back seat folds down to allow for really large items to be transported. There are possibly two negatives (if you want to call them negatives) and that is that this little car does not seem to hug the road when you're driving on an off-ramp with a sharp curve, so you really have to slow it down, but that's probably the smarter thing to do anyway! The other thing is it's a small car and sits very low, so I wonder sometimes if people driving SUVs and semi-trucks see me! Makes me want to put one of those flags on my bumper like kids put on their bicycles! :) I would recommend this car to anyone. I love mine!
I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Accent GLS because I wanted a vehicle that had a wide, clear view of the road and felt similar in comfort to my previous vehicle. The Accent has those features. It has been reliable, has lots of power, but sometimes feels like the auto transmission struggles to get into gear. That may be typical for this vehicle, but I'm not sure. The cons of the vehicle are the uncomfortable headrest, which pushes your head forward and blocks the rear view making it difficult to see around when you're trying to back up. The trunk lid is lightweight and has a cheap, tinny feel to it when it is shut. The trunk space is just adequate, not all that roomy. The speedometer would be easier to read if it had better markings. I do like the deep cupholders between the front seats. It's nice that the backseat also has cupholders. Side mirrors are easy to adjust. The gas mileage seems to be good. The car's style is appealing, sizeable headlights look good, rear defroster is nice, heater and a/c work well, speakers have a nice sound. Larger side pockets are fine for maps and small papers. The car is economical and would make a good work car. I'm not sure I'd buy another one, as it does seem cheaply made but not unlike most compact cars that are now produced. A more solid vehicle would make me feel more secure in spite of the many airbags in this one.
