It is designed to go head to head with the Toyota Avalon and does so with a much smaller price tag. Driver memory adjusts the gas and brake pedals, the steering column (up/down and in/out), the outside mirrors, the seat. You can fold the side mirrors in with a push button. The remote controlled sunscreen in the rear window is fantastic at keeping the back seat passengers cool. In Korea, this is a luxury mid-size taxi. Great room in back and a trunk that's huge.

Very sporty and hard when you want it to be and comfortable and quiet in the normal times. Interior is pretty sharp, its a plastic playground in there but don't get me wrong it's a very cool interior. Definitely need to get the track version with the brembos.

It's the perfect fit for me, a petite woman, who appreciates the height of this car and the power on the V6 engine. Wish it had a better sound system, but that is the low priority when I bought this car. I'm sure it will drive well in snowy conditions but this winter has been very mild.

Technology package adds exceptional benefits such as brighter headlights, larger tires, panoramic sunroof, heated/cooled front seats, rear sunshade, and unique interior lighting. Take a look at it if you are considering Lexus ES 350 or Toyota Avalon.

Reviews for Hyundai Sedans

Overall Rating

4.5 out of 5(5,157 reviews)

Great car, excellent mpg!

I purchased the 6 speed version for travel 60 miles one way to work. As a long time large truck owner I was reluctant to buy a small car but I needed something better on gas for the commute. It's a nice ride. To my surprise I avg 40 mpg. Stereo is ok seats are ok for maybe up to 2-3 hours of driving and it's actually not a bad looking car for the price. I would buy another one thus far, when the time comes. The cab room is roomy for a sedan and the trunk is large as well.

Comfort and performance over a 'status' symbol :)

Performance, handling, comfort, accessories; all top notch. I loved this vehicle from the first test drive, and even though I was at the dealership to test drive a Mercedes and a BMW, this car won hands down. Price/performance ratio compared to those other cars is just better. I don't need a 'status' emblem - I need a reliable, fun, good looking car that won't break the bank, and I found it in the Hyundai Genesis.

A real sports car!

The 3.8 Genesis Coupe is often measured against V6 Mustangs and Camaros, but this is an inaccurate comparison. The Genesis is a significantly smaller car. In terms of size, weight and HP it's actually much closer to a different legendary car: the Toyota Supra A80. (Which cost significantly more when new - and good luck finding a Supra that hasn't been modified and hooned into oblivion!) The Genesis 3.8 is a true sports car with all the pros and cons that implies. It's just civilized enough to be used as a daily driver, although the suspension on the Track version is too firm to drive regularly on broken/potholed pavement. This is a really fun car, and there are tons of aftermarket tuning options available if you're that way inclined.
