Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.431 reviews) This is a comfortable, nice looking, economical car. Wish I could have found the high end Elantra to get a little stronger engine, although the standard 4 cyl. is not bad. Would like an oil pressure gauge and radio controls on the steering wheel. Those are minor issues, but lots of upside. On interstate, we get the highway mileage rating. On backroads, even going through towns, we get 37 mpg. Backseat is roomy and so is the trunk. I would buy another one. Sunroof is great. Oil filter easy to get to. This was not one of the 3 cars we were considering. We drove Mazda 3, Ford Focus, and Chevy Cruz. Cruz was a close second for ride.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.431 reviews) This is not a perfect car but it is a great value for commuting. It has a surprising amount of space for its size, both interior and cargo, and handles pretty well. I wouldn't want to have 4 adults and luggage in there for a long road trip, but packing around the family is no problem. It's a little light on power but I still can maintain highway speed going uphill. So far (~10,000 miles since I've had it, almost 60,000 overall) it has been reliable, no repairs needed. It's reasonably fun to drive and I get 34-35mpg (regular fuel) on the highway. Biggest downside is technology - the radio is bad and the speakers are average at best. No temperature reading (engine, cabin or outside) and no separate controls for anything for passengers.

Sleek, great mileage, roomy

Great car for the price. We drive a 200+ weekend trip almost every two weeks and it's nice.

It does get the 40+ mileage per gallon, it has had No electrical, engine, transmission issues.
