Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Tan Average Vehicle Review: (4.431 reviews) This is not a perfect car but it is a great value for commuting. It has a surprising amount of space for its size, both interior and cargo, and handles pretty well. I wouldn't want to have 4 adults and luggage in there for a long road trip, but packing around the family is no problem. It's a little light on power but I still can maintain highway speed going uphill. So far (~10,000 miles since I've had it, almost 60,000 overall) it has been reliable, no repairs needed. It's reasonably fun to drive and I get 34-35mpg (regular fuel) on the highway. Biggest downside is technology - the radio is bad and the speakers are average at best. No temperature reading (engine, cabin or outside) and no separate controls for anything for passengers.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.431 reviews) This car may not be the best looking or very stylish inside and out, but for a car at its price, it has great safety rating numbers, seatbelts, and a lot of different airbags that make it so (I can attest to the airbag and safety when I had this model before from 2010 until 2014 when it was totaled in an accident. It protected me well). It also gets great gas mileage, has a very roomy, comfortable cabin for its compact sedan size, large trunk space, Great stereo system and speaker volume balance, fog lights, chrome door handles, steering wheel cruise control and stereo system controls, Auxillary plug in for iPod or phone music, charging power jack, cigarette lighter, spare tire with jack and tools, and traction control. Not bad for winter .

Sleek, great mileage, roomy

This is a comfortable, nice looking, economical car. Wish I could have found the high end Elantra to get a little stronger engine, although the standard 4 cyl. is not bad. Would like an oil pressure gauge and radio controls on the steering wheel. Those are minor issues, but lots of upside. On interstate, we get the highway mileage rating. On backroads, even going through towns, we get 37 mpg. Backseat is roomy and so is the trunk. I would buy another one. Sunroof is great. Oil filter easy to get to. This was not one of the 3 cars we were considering. We drove Mazda 3, Ford Focus, and Chevy Cruz. Cruz was a close second for ride.

Great Reliable Transportation

Runs great, decent mileage, looks nice, plenty of cargo room. My only complaint is that the driver side window stopped working, and needs a whole new internal assembly, a $400 repair. This shouldn't happen on a 6 year old car. However, the car itself is great. It's really like a small SUV, as it sits higher than a Civic, but not quite as high as a Honda CRV. The gas mileage achieved is usually about 26 mpg, not great, but not bad. On longer trips, slightly more than 30 mpg can be achieved. It's worthwhile to note that this car is heavier than the Elantra sedan, which accounts for lower gas mileage. Fantastic car, very happy with it, no issues.

Great Car

I love driving this car! It's comfortable, it handles well, and it's so convenient- there's a compartment for everything! The only complaint I have (and it's a very minor one) is that the brakes are touchy on rainiy days, so you have to be very gentle with them to avoid an abrupt stop. Other than that, it's great!
