Bought this vehicle for my teen getting ready to leave for college. We love it. Lots of interior room and trunk space. Small enough for a teen, but certainly big enough for a family of 4 (or 5 if kids are smaller). Hyundai continues to gain a larger fan base. Oh...and the backup camera is a must for the youth of today!! This car is also perfect for those trying to scale back the budget too.
I have no complaints and no regrets. Great mileage
First of all it's very pretty; I have a dark blue one. I like how it
drives. It has GREAT gas mileage. The AC is great! It
responds well! It has a huge trunk. I like the radio and CD player.
I can't find anything wrong with it so far. I've had it since March
of '15 - 4 months. It seems so reliable !
1 year in, 75k miles, a great car
2010 Hyundai ElantraJohn Y - Santa Fe, NM05/18/2016
I've owned this car for one year now, and have had no major problems. I've put almost 20k miles on since I bought it. Routine oil changes and a transmission flush are basically all I've had to do, oh and new tires. I think I had to replace a couple belts recently too. Handles well enough in the snow with standard all-season tires. There isn't a lot of passenger room - two adults up front and a teenager in back is pretty crowded, but most of the time it's just me and the small children in car seats, and two car seats work okay. I definitely wouldn't want to try 3 though. I mostly use the car for commuting to work and it's great, good gas mileage (33 mpg average, mostly highway).
