I purchased this '09 SE with the upgrade package. I traded a mid-size V6, and the difference in the heaviness, feel, and responsiveness were quite noticeable at first. It didn't take long, however, for me to fall completely in love with my Elantra. The biggest selling point for me was the gas savings. My previous sedan had a 17 gallon tank and got between 16-18 mpg. My Elantra has a much smaller tank and I average 35 mpg. What I save in gas eases my already low car note.
Because I have some upgrades, I can enjoy the creatures comforts of a higher end car without the price. The heated seats are wonderful and so are the Blue Tooth capability and the Electronic Stability Control. I prefer a manual transmission, so having one, on top of the other perks, is like icing on the cake.

Henry Ford once famously told customers that his Model T came in any color they wanted, so long as that color was black. That was over 100 years ago. Today, the vehicles available to us come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes, with a profusion of available options and features. Whether you're shopping for a quality used vehicle, or you want to take the plunge with a new car, 2017 is a great time to see what's available.
