My first car was a hyundai, never had a problem. Since then I stick with this brand. This particular car, I like the style and size, even though a bit smaller than my previous car, sonata but inside there is not much of a difference. Love the interior style and color. Overall it's a great car, I gave it a 4 because of some cons and the tire looses air frequently than normal. I own this car by only months and the low air tire pressure poped up trice.
I'm so happy about my car choice. I love that the Elantra looks sporty but is four doors. It feels like an almost-luxury car but at an affordable price. Running smooth even in the cold winters. Love, love, love!!! Definitely suggest springing for the heated seats- worth an upgrade!
1 year in, 75k miles, a great car
2010 Hyundai ElantraJohn Y - Santa Fe, NM05/18/2016
I've owned this car for one year now, and have had no major problems. I've put almost 20k miles on since I bought it. Routine oil changes and a transmission flush are basically all I've had to do, oh and new tires. I think I had to replace a couple belts recently too. Handles well enough in the snow with standard all-season tires. There isn't a lot of passenger room - two adults up front and a teenager in back is pretty crowded, but most of the time it's just me and the small children in car seats, and two car seats work okay. I definitely wouldn't want to try 3 though. I mostly use the car for commuting to work and it's great, good gas mileage (33 mpg average, mostly highway).
